Eddie Hall, renowned strongman, is stepping into the MMA cage to face Mariusz Pudzianowski, another former World’s Strongest Man, in a highly anticipated super-heavyweight match.
Hall is pursuing a career in MMA, following a debut victory in a somewhat unusual two-on-one fight against the Neffati brothers last June.

The highly anticipated bout between Hall and Pudzianowski is scheduled for April 26th at the PreZero Arena in Poland, which has a capacity of 30,000.
Hall announced on his YouTube channel, “The fight is confirmed. I’ve been discussing a fight with Mariusz Pudzianowski.”
He continued, “He is a five-time World’s Strongest Man champion who transitioned to professional MMA fighting back in 2009.”
“He has been fighting in MMA for 16 years, with around 27 fights under his belt. He has a pretty good win-loss record, with more wins than losses, which is definitely in his favor.”
“I’ve been aiming to get into MMA for a while now, and the opportunity has finally arrived.”
“The chance to fight Mariusz Pudzianowski came my way. It’s not like I’m diving straight into the most challenging scenario right away!”
“I’m not starting with amateur fights, then progressing to a few pro fights before facing a top-tier opponent.”

Pudzianowski, 48, began his strongman career in 1999 and achieved World’s Strongest Man titles in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008.
He turned professional MMA fighter in 2009 and has since competed in 27 fights, with 17 wins, nine losses, and one no-contest.
Pudzianowski’s most recent fight was in June 2023, where he lost to former professional boxer Artur Szpilka, 35.
Hall, 37, also participated in a strongman boxing match against Hafthor Bjornsson, 36, which he lost over six exhibition rounds.
Following his boxing experience, Hall transitioned to MMA, even sparring with UFC fighter Tom Aspinall, 31, before his unconventional fight against the TikTok Neffati brothers.
Hall weighed 26 stone for his previous MMA fight, while Pudzianowski weighs 18 stone, bringing their combined weight to a massive 44 stone.
