Emma Raducanu is expected to have up to five additional security guards when she returns to play next week.
The 22-year-old British tennis player was recently targeted by a man who was described as “fixated” during her match in Dubai.

Her former coach, Roman Kelecic, stated that this individual had been following her across four different countries in recent weeks.
Police detained the man after he was removed from Raducanu’s match, and he has since been given a restraining order.
Since leaving Dubai, Raducanu has returned to the UK.
She is expected to travel to the United States to participate in the Indian Wells Masters 1000 event, which is often considered a very important tournament, like the “fifth Grand Slam”.
If she decides to compete in Indian Wells, increased security measures are anticipated following last week’s incident.
According to The Times, WTA officials are likely to provide Raducanu with up to five security personnel at the event.
She may also have security accompanying her away from the tournament site, as her stalker approached her in a restaurant last week.
Bob Campbell, WTA’s vice-president of security, will be in charge of safety arrangements at Indian Wells.
A former Secret Service agent with 20 years of experience is working to ensure Raducanu feels secure enough to travel to and compete at Indian Wells.
It is understood that the U.S. Open champion is eager to move past this incident and return to playing as soon as possible.
Raducanu had previously declined opportunities to hire personal security for her tours.
However, she and her management company, IMG, which also represented Maria Sharapova, might reconsider this approach in the future.
Indian Wells is a very profitable tournament on the WTA Tour, with the winner receiving £952,000 in prize money.
Even losing in the first round still earns players £20,000.

After returning to the UK, Raducanu updated her Instagram bio to “ad astra per aspera,” which is Latin for “to the stars through hardships.”
She also released a statement following her experience: “Thank you for the messages of support.
“Yesterday was a difficult experience, but I will be okay and I am proud of how I recovered and competed despite what happened at the start of the match.
“Thank you to Karolina for being a great competitor and I wish her the best for the rest of the tournament.”
After Indian Wells, Raducanu is scheduled to play in Miami later in March.
Following that, she will focus on the clay court season and preparing for the French Open.
