Nicole Faltum is set to captain the Australia A 50-over team following her participation in the T20I tour of New Zealand.

Heather Graham, Nicole Faltum, and Charli Knott will lead Australia A in a series of matches against England A in late March.
The series will feature three T20 matches, three one-day matches, and a four-day game, all of which will be held in Sydney.
Graham will captain the Australia A T20 team, while Faltum, recently selected for the T20I tour of New Zealand starting March 21, will lead the one-day side. Knott, an all-rounder from Queensland, will captain the four-day match scheduled from April 12-15 at Cricket Central.

Prior to the England A series, the second Green vs Gold match will take place. This three-day game, featuring two groups of Australian players, will be held in Canberra from March 12-14. Last year’s inaugural event saw Georgia Voll score a double century.
Faltum will captain the Green team, while Knott will lead the Gold team in the Green vs Gold fixture.
National selector Shawn Flegler commented that these series are crucial for the elite player pathway, offering development opportunities for promising domestic players and a chance to impress selectors against international competition.
Flegler added that the National Selection Panel is focused on the future, highlighting the successful transitions of Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield into the Australian team. This series provides an excellent opportunity to evaluate a wide range of players.
He also mentioned the inclusion of new talents like Grace Dignam, Elsa Hunter, Gabby Sutcliffe, Sianna Ginger, and Rhys McKenna, expressing excitement to see them in action.
Flegler noted that with a one-day World Cup in India this year and a T20 World Cup the following year, the ‘A’ series is particularly valuable for assessing players who could contend for selection.
The England A tour follows the senior side’s 16-0 Ashes defeat earlier in the season.
