Fans are raving about Mauricio Ruffy’s incredible spinning wheel kick knockout of King Green, calling it potentially the greatest KO ever seen in the UFC.
At UFC 313 in Las Vegas, Ruffy, 28, outperformed Green, 38, starting the night with a truly spectacular moment in the Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev event.

The Brazilian fighter finished his experienced opponent just over two minutes into the first round of their match.
Ruffy, now with a record of 12-1-0, extends his winning streak to seven fights, as King Green fell to the canvas after the perfectly aimed head kick.
Seeing Green with his guard down, Ruffy landed a fight-ending, powerful kick, securing his 10th career knockout victory.
Online fans were amazed by the sensational spinning kick, expressing their reactions across social media.
One fan commented, “One of the greatest KOs in UFC history. Simply amazing.”
Another added, “Ruffy definitely earned a spot on the all-time great KO list with that knockout.”
A third wrote, “Brutal and beautiful at the same time.”
And a fourth stated, “I don’t think Green even saw it coming! That was a KO I won’t forget anytime soon…”

Former UFC commentator Daniel Cormier remarked, “My jaw dropped… King Green often has issues keeping his hands up. You just can’t do that against a fighter like Ruffy.”
Ruffy celebrated his win impressively, performing a backflip in the center of the octagon.
He will also take home an extra $50,000 (£38,700) for winning the Performance of the Night bonus.
For Green, this defeat spoils his 50th professional fight milestone, leaving his record at 32-17-1.
The California native has now suffered two consecutive losses, following a first-round submission defeat to Paddy Pimblett last July.
In other events of the night, Alex Pereira lost his light-heavyweight title in a decision defeat to Magomed Ankalaev.
Justin Gaethje defeated Rafael Fiziev in a rematch of their 2023 fight at UFC 286.
